Next-generation mobile architecture

Two platforms.
One device.

DualOS One is a proposed smartphone architecture designed around two independent computing environments sharing only carefully controlled hardware resources such as the battery and display.

The Architecture

Instead of forcing two operating environments into one software stack, DualOS One separates the computing platforms at the hardware level.

Shared Resources

Battery • Display • Charging System • User Interface Switching Layer

Platform A

  • Independent processor
  • Independent RAM
  • Independent storage
  • Independent GPU
  • Independent networking architecture
  • Independent operating environment
  • Hardware isolation

Platform B

  • Independent processor
  • Independent RAM
  • Independent storage
  • Independent GPU
  • Independent networking architecture
  • Android operating environment
  • Hardware isolation
Mechanized chassis

Everything Unbolts.

It looks like a Pixel — clean slab, camera bar, soft-square corners — but the body is a machined frame of keyed bays. Every module can be removed, added, modified or upgraded. The only parts that ever wear out and need replacing are the battery and the screen.

Bay 01

Camera Bar

Pixel-style bar unbolts as a single sled. Swap sensor stacks, periscope or thermal without touching the chassis.

Bay 02

Platform A Compute Sled

SoC, RAM and storage on one keyed card. Upgrade silicon generations, keep the phone.

Bay 03

Platform B Compute Sled

Second independent card. Overclocked or efficiency silicon, changed in under a minute.

Bay 04

Radio Deck

Modem, antennas, eSIM and satellite module. Region and generation swappable.

Bay 05

Thermal Cassette

Vapour chamber or active micro-fan cartridge, keyed to the edition you build.

Bay 06

Port & Audio Block

USB-C, magnetic pogo rail, speakers and haptics as one replaceable brick.

Wear parts: battery and screen. Everything else is an upgrade, never a repair.

Why Build It?

DualOS One targets professionals, developers, security-conscious users, enterprise customers and consumers who want multiple computing environments without carrying multiple phones.

Hardware Isolation

Independent computing platforms can reduce cross-platform dependency and create a fundamentally different security model.

One Physical Device

Users carry one phone while maintaining separate computing environments.

Enterprise Potential

The architecture could support separated personal, corporate, development or secure computing environments.

Build the Future

We're looking for engineers, hardware partners, investors and early adopters interested in developing the DualOS One concept.
